Youth Council seeks new members
The Youth Council in Hastings on Hudson is seeking to new/additional members for the council and would like to diversify its ethnocultural representation. A strategic planning initiative will soon begin to examine community needs and programming, so this would be an opportune moment to volunteer.
You might know of the council through some of its programs, such as Hastings K.I.D.S. and the food pantry. The Youth Council is a key part of the village's support network for children, youth, and families. As such it works with professional staff, the village government, and the school board. Members meet once a month and may collaborate, lead, or coordinate on one or more projects.
