HOH Dem Caucus - This Wknd
Hi Hastings Folks - I wanted to remind everyone of the importance of voting in on our local town Dem caucus for two trustee openings on the Village Board this Sunday, Jan 23rd.
Voting takes place at the James Harmon Community Center following a zoom discussion by the candidates. Probably around 3:30/4PM.
Typically the winner of the Democratic caucus, goes on to win the seat(s) in Hastings.
There's a candidate forum this evening at 8PM, where you can hear the viewpoints of all of the candidates. The forum is at 8PM and you can access the zoom here.

This Sunday, January 23, we start our Caucus proceedings online at 3:00pm. No pre-registration is required. Here the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83488955416 When the nomination period is over, we’ll ask Hastings Democrats to come down to the JHCC to vote in-person. The ballot box will be open for 3 hours. To understand the caucus process, see our page on Caucus procedure. Finally, make sure you are one our mailing list to get our updates.
