While most participants and affiliates of P-CoC's Social Circle family in Hastings and Hudson are pro-LGBTQ and remain committed to P-CoC's laser-focused work on Race, Color, and Ethnicity, we acknowledge that not all pro-LGBTQ individuals, especially those fighting against P-CoC's laser-focused work, are also ANTI-RACIST, and this has become more evident than ever before.

See attached below P-CoC's letter dated JUNE 23RD, 2023, and sent on JULY 28TH, 2023, a LETTER OF APOLOGY sent out to the village officials around the time this issue was brought to P-CoC's attention. We are in full agreement that the signage covering was not appropriate, and this official letter of apology was sent to village officials. We also alerted the HRF leadership at that time. Since then, P-CoC has been trying to secure the designated five-hour space for the JUNETEENTH celebration to no avail, facing pushback from some members of HRF, necessitating this petition.
